Deep in the high-altitude valleys of Ladakh, where the air is pure and
the soil untouched, grows one of nature's most powerful superfoods —
the Sea Buckthorn Berry.
At Pahari Haat, we bring you 100% wild-harvested Sea Buckthorn Berries,
hand-picked by the resilient women of Ladakh at altitudes above 3,000
metres. No farms. No chemicals. No shortcuts. Just pure, raw Himalayan
goodness — exactly as nature intended.
Each 50g pack is a concentrated powerhouse of Vitamin C, Omega 3-6-7-9,
antioxidants and over 190 bioactive nutrients — making Sea Buckthorn one
of the most nutrient-dense berries on the planet.
Why Ladakh Makes All the Difference
The extreme climate of Ladakh — harsh winters, intense UV radiation and
minimal rainfall — forces the Sea Buckthorn plant to produce exceptionally
high concentrations of nutrients to survive. This is why Ladakhi Sea
Buckthorn is considered the world's finest — far superior to berries
grown in milder climates.
When you buy Pahari Haat Sea Buckthorn Berries, you are not just buying
a superfood. You are directly supporting the livelihoods of Ladakhi women
who hand-harvest these berries in some of the most remote and challenging
terrain on earth.

How to Brew Sea Buckthorn Berry Tea
Step 1 — Measure: Take 8–10 dried sea buckthorn berries per cup (200ml)
Step 2 — Heat Water: Heat water to 90°C — just below boiling.
(Boiling water destroys Vitamin C)
Step 3 — Steep: Pour water over berries. Cover and steep 7–10 minutes.
Step 4 — Press: Press each berry with a spoon before drinking —
this releases the Omega-7 oils into your tea.
Step 5 — Add Honey: Add raw honey after slight cooling.
(Honey enzymes survive better below 60°C)
Step 6 — Eat the Berries: Don't discard steeped berries —
eat them or add to yoghurt/oats.
Best time: Morning on empty stomach for maximum absorption.
Daily dose: 8–12 berries or 1–2 tsp powder.

Why Sea Buckthorn is Called the "Holy Fruit of the Himalayas"
Vitamin C Powerhouse
Contains up to 15x more Vitamin C than oranges — one of the richest natural sources on earth. Strengthens immunity, fights infections and speeds up recovery.
Rare Omega-7 — Found in Very Few Foods
Sea Buckthorn is one of the only plant sources of Omega-7 fatty acid — which supports heart health, reduces inflammation and promotes healthy skin from within.
Energy & Stamina
Used by Ladakhi warriors and mountaineers for centuries to combat extreme altitude fatigue. Natural adaptogen that boosts energy without caffeine.
Antioxidant Shield
Over 190 bioactive compounds including flavonoids, carotenoids and tocopherols fight free radicals — slowing ageing and protecting cells.
Skin Glow from Within
High concentration of beta-carotene and Omega oils nourish skin deeply — reducing dryness, pigmentation and giving natural glow especially suited for Indian skin.
Bone & Joint Health
Rich in calcium, magnesium and Vitamin K — supports bone density and reduces joint inflammation naturally.
Brain & Mood Support
Omega-3 and Omega-6 support cognitive function, reduce brain fog and support emotional wellbeing.
Eye Health
High beta-carotene content protects vision and reduces eye strain — especially beneficial for screen-heavy modern lifestyles.
Q: Are these berries really wild harvested or farmed?
A: 100% wild harvested. Our Sea Buckthorn berries grow naturally in the wild valleys of Ladakh above 3,000 metres altitude — never farmed, never chemically treated. This is what makes them genuinely superior in nutrient density compared to commercially farmed berries.
Q: Why is Ladakh Sea Buckthorn better than other regions?
A: Ladakh's extreme climate — harsh UV radiation, freezing temperatures and mineral-rich glacial soil — forces the plant to produce exceptionally high concentrations of nutrients as a survival mechanism. This is why Ladakh Sea Buckthorn is globally considered the most potent variety.
Q: How many berries are in 50g and how long will it last?
A: 50g contains approximately 400-500 dried berries. If you consume 10-15 berries daily, one pack will last 30-40 days — a full month's supply in a single pack.
Q: What does it taste like?
A: Sea Buckthorn berries are naturally tangy and sour — similar to amla. They can be strong when eaten directly, so we recommend consuming them as tea, in smoothies or mixed with honey for the best taste and maximum nutrient absorption.
Q: Is it safe for pregnant women and children?
A: Generally safe for pregnant women and children above 5 years. However, like any supplement, please consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or for young children.
Q: How long does delivery take?
A: Orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days. Metro cities receive delivery in 3-5 days, other areas in 5-7 days.
Q: Is it FSSAI certified?
A: Yes, all Pahari Haat products are FSSAI certified — quality and
safety guaranteed.
Q: Why choose Pahari Haat over other brands?
A: Most brands simply say "Himalayan" — without specifying the source. Our berries are specifically wild harvested from Ladakh, hand-picked by local women harvesters and delivered directly to you — no middlemen, no compromise on quality.
